The Green Valley Community Garden - A Ministry of Pine Grove United Methodist Church
The Green Valley Community Garden is 1 1/4 acres of vegetables and fruits lovingly tended by volunteers from in and around the town of Spruce Pine, NC. We strive to be good stewards of the land and utilize the principles of sustainability to guide us in our efforts. As such, the garden serves as an “outdoor classroom” for community members (including local school children) to learn about and put into practice the fundamental techniques of sustainable agriculture.
